People of SEAT – Wenbo Zhang

Wenbo Zhang is completing his PHD in partnership with the University of Stirling and Shanghai Ocean University.

In this short interview he discusses his work exploring the sustainability of shrimp and tilapia in Chinese aquaculture, the long history of aquaculture in China (including the first aquaculture instruction book that was written 2,500 years ago) the implications of aquaculture on food security and economic development and how these factors have affected the industry and the species farmed.
